big spat with my daughter and husband because his daughter told on her and her friends and told on her own brother too (all 17 year olds) for drinking a wine cooler...we just went through this with a therapist who because step daughter was parading sans shirt in front room for her boyfriend and people walked in, the therapist said the kids shouldnt tell on her thats the problem... a murky mess!!

Step Parenting 101

ok I have 2 sets of twins 12 and 17 one boy and a 16 year old step daughter and 17 year old step son, and all I can say is "let the games begin"! I pray to God to grant me the grace not to go nuts on one specific step child who is constant competition with one of my eldest daughters!!

I dearly love my husband, but he fiercely protects his baby and refuses to discipline her.

I asked 2 friends what to do... the concensus: back away and let him handle it and focus on your marriage!! Hard to do with some questionable risque behavior...."let go, let God"

I pray for strength!!! But I need to focus on a new day of backing off and letting him take care of this problem....
